Housing Providers partner with OneHome to submit vacancies and available resources in HMIS. Once a household is matched through the Prioritization and Referral process, Housing Providers work with the household and other service providers in the community to outreach and engage the household matched to their housing program.

This training provides an overview of OneHome housing provider responsibilities as well as details on specific activities and how to do them in HMIS. Modules include:
Housing Provider Responsibilities: An Overview
Inputting Vacancies and Accepting Referrals
Working with Referrals: How to Find Clients and Documenting Client Outreach Attempts
Enrolling or Denying Referred Clients
Move-in Dates and Update Assessments
Multiple Denial Policy & Process
Audience: All employees who support the housing provider process, inputting vacancies, monitoring/updating referrals, outreaching referrals, working with folks on paperwork, documents, and enrolling clients in the housing program, all the way to move-in. Learners should already have completed their regular HMIS training and be working in the system.
At the end of the training, there will be a brief quiz to check your understanding of the process.

This person works directly with OneHome staff, Agency Liaisons, and Assessors to outreach and engage households matched to an opening in their housing program.
