Committees & Work Groups
These groups provide an outlet for community partners and people with lived experience to join our region’s work to end homelessness. Membership is either open, appointed, or application-based.

Coordinating Committee
What: A unique venue for MDHI stakeholders to network with regional partners, discuss pertinent topics, and share updates on regional and local efforts to end homelessness in Metro Denver.
Who: Social service providers, nonprofit and government agency representatives, affordable housing solutions, faith-based organizations, people with lived experience of homelessness, and anyone else interested in collaborating.
Community Design Team
What: Community Design Team (CDT) is a monthly gathering of Coordinated Entry partners. The goal is to improve your understanding and use of Coordinated Entry while creating an intentional space for community feedback, training, and updates.
Who: Any service provider who works with the OneHome Coordinated Entry System.
Youth Work Group
What: This is a group of partners coordinating the region’s response to prevent and end youth homelessness with funding from the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP).
Who: Any service provider who works with youth or young adults experiencing homelessness aged 24 or under, as well as young people with lived experience of homelessness or housing instability.
Apply to a Committee or Work Group
The application for these groups is used as a screening tool for membership. Staff may reach out with additional questions. Lived experience groups will require a follow-up application to ensure broad representation within these groups. Members are accepted on a rolling basis. If you do not hear back from us, then membership is temporarily closed.
Young Adult Leadership Committee - Young adults aged 18-24 with lived experience that help cocreate and advise the CoC’s work
Lived Experience Advisory Committee - Individuals 25+ with lived experience that help cocreate and advise the CoC’s work
NOFO Work Group - Helps evaluate and rank HUD applications of funding for the CoC; participation is confidential
Permanent Housing Work Group - Helps create, maintain, and uphold CoC standards and oversight for permanent housing
Results Academy Work Group - Responsible for analyzing and advising CoC on diversity, equity, and inclusion
